Thank you to Adi Gaskell from the Isle of Wight for the latest beverage. (Check out Adi's streaming media website.) This purchase was made just in time for me to fetch a 4-pack from the local shop, and park myself in front of the TV for England versus Wales.



England cruised to a 2-0 victory with goals from Lampard and Beckham.

Pint Number 6

This is getting ridiculous. Pint Number 6 comes courtesy of Glenn Wilson in Penrith, NSW, Australia, fiancé to Mary (purchaser of Pint Number 2). What better excuse for a drink than a wedding? All the best to you both for a very happy marriage...



Oh, and this is yet another distance record with this pint having travelled an incredible 10,531 miles (16,946 kilometres)! I think that's going to take some beating.

Pint Number 5

I can't say I expected this to take off in quite the way that it has. 5 pints in the first week is great! The latest round is courtesy of Olivier Galy from Camden, South Carolina. He works at Web Stat who produce excellent software for tracking website traffic. Check them out.

On this occasion, the funds went towards a bottle of wine (again, at the Thai restaurant) - a Shiraz Cabernet from Down Under. Cheers, Olivier!!

Thank you to Kate Jones of Leeds, England, for Pint Number 4. This was enjoyed in our local Thai restaurant. They usually serve by the bottle rather than by the pint glass, but they managed to make an exception in my case.

I never thought they were big drinkers in Japan. So, to log in this morning and find that Junichiro Watanabe from Gifu in Japan had got a round in for me, was a wonderful surprise. He runs a health site and an education site, so should perhaps know better! Thank you very much and cheers, Jun!!
